Professional Full Time Fishing Guide in business since 1998,
I have been fishing on Lake McConaughy for over 40 years and have guided countless fisherman to Trophy class Walleye (10lb plus) with the largest being a massive 35 1/2" 15.75lb monster.

Fishing is a true passion for me and I truly love sharing my knowledge with my clients.  In particular I enjoy fishing with kids, father/son-daughter trips are a specialty of mine.  There is nothing like having our youth tie into one of our Big Mac Monsters and watching their enthusiasm and excitement as they battle it out!!

I have successfully guided clients young and old, couples, fishing buddies, tournament anglers, father-mother/son-daughter and corporate accounts throughout the midwest use my guide service as sales incentive trips for their employees.

I don't guarantee fish, but I do guarantee a pleasant and informative trip with a knowledgeable and professional guide.  Weather fronts and forces of nature can really dictate fishing, and I cannot control that.  That being said, I am not a quitter and always make a strong effort to get my clients on fish.  Short of putting my clients in danger, I will stay out in the most inclement weather and fish to the last minute to make it happen for you.

Equipment
To ensure a safe and enjoyable trip, nothing but new and up to date trucks, boats and equipment are used.
Currently we are fishing out of a Team Skeeter WX2060, powered by Yamaha 250 SHO and 9.9-4 stroke engines.  Hummingbird Helix 12 and 9 with mega side and down imaging, Minn Kota Ulterra, Canon Mag 10 downriggers and other fish catching gadgets to numerous to list.

Ground transportation to the lake comes from a 2020 Ram 3500 Crew Cab.

Tackle for Big Mac can be complicated, so you better be ready with an arsenal of lures to make sure you can cover the changing conditions that may affect the fishing......and we literally do have an arsenal of gear,  I have acquired a massive array of tackle to pinpoint these trophy fish.
